Lost then Found
"A common mistake pet owners make is they think their pets won't get lost," says veterinarian to the stars Dr. Jeff Werber. "However, one in three will become lost.” The best ways to increase the chances of finding your pet is to simply make sure everyone in the area is on the look out for them.
Lost then Found immediately sends a picture of your lost pet and a contact number to the cell phones of every FuzzPiing member in the zip code in which your pet was lost. This will increase the chance of finding your pet by more than 200%!
Setting up the service is simple:
1. Sign up and join FuzzPiing (free).
2. Create your pet’s profile and upload a good picture.
3. Enroll in Lost then Found ($2/month).
If your pet gets lost:
1. Log in and click on Lost your Pet.
2. Enter the zip code in which your pet was lost and click send.
3. FuzzPiing will send your pet’s picture along with your phone number
to everyone signed up to FuzzPiing in that zipcode.
Increase the Strength of Lost then Found
Most pets are lost in their own neighborhood – and are found within a mile of their home. Therefore, the success of Lost then Found increases dramatically if other pet owners in your community join FuzzPiing before your pet gets lost.
To help you do this, we’ve created a “FuzzPiing Flyer” you can post throughout your neighborhood. We recommend gathering a few fellow pet owners and posting it in a 4 block radius. The more people join the community, the more the community can look out for one another.
